Your career is fine on paper. But something is making you stop and think.
Coaching for capable professionals who want to be more intentional about where they’re heading and why.
When something feels off
You’re not necessarily unhappy. You might be doing well by most measures. But something has shifted, or you’ve just paused long enough to notice that you’re not sure this is quite right anymore.
It can show up in different ways:
- You’re good at what you do, but starting to wonder if this is really how you want to spend the next twenty years
- Something has changed at work, a new role, a restructure, a promotion, and it’s made you more aware of what you actually want
- You’ve been thinking about a different direction but haven’t done anything about it yet, and you’re not sure where to start
- You’re at a fork in the road and want to make a considered decision rather than just defaulting to the obvious next step
- You want work to feel more meaningful, or more sustainable, but you’re not sure what that actually looks like
- You’re starting something new and want to approach it thoughtfully rather than just hoping it works out
What these situations have in common is that they call for some deliberate thinking, not just reacting, applying or waiting for the feeling to pass.
What this coaching focuses on
Know yourself
Getting clear on what actually matters to you: your values, strengths, drivers, and what you want more of in your working life. This is usually where we start, because good decisions are hard to make without it.
Explore your options
Exploring what’s actually possible, what directions genuinely fit you, and what a realistic next chapter could look like. This is where the thinking gets practical.
Find your direction
Turning clarity into concrete next steps, with the confidence to act on them rather than staying stuck in the thinking phase.
Confidence and mindset run through all of this. Most people find that knowing themselves better is itself the thing that shifts how they feel about moving forward.
Who this is for
This works best for capable professionals who are at some kind of crossroads and want to approach it deliberately.
It suits you well if you’re the kind of person who wants to understand yourself and your situation clearly before making decisions, rather than just acting on impulse or anxiety.
It’s probably not the right fit if what you’re primarily looking for is job search support, such as finding roles, working the market or application strategy. That’s a different kind of help, and coaching isn’t the most direct route to it.
What working together looks like
We start with a discovery call to understand your situation and what you’d like to change.
If we decide to work together, sessions are 60 minutes, held weekly or fortnightly. We work on what’s actually happening for you right now, not generic exercises or frameworks that don’t fit your situation.
Each session gives you space to think things through properly. You’ll leave with clearer thinking and a sense of what to do next. Between sessions you’ll be testing, noticing and bringing that back into the next conversation.
Some clients work with me for a few months around a specific decision or transition. Others find it useful for longer as they navigate something more ongoing. We can talk about what makes sense for your situation on the discovery call.
Not sure which type of coaching fits?
If what’s getting in your way is mainly about managing people, leading a team, or stepping into leadership with more confidence, Leadership Coaching may be the better fit. You can find out more on the Leadership Coaching page.
If you’re more at a career crossroads and want space to think through direction and next steps, Career Direction coaching may be more appropriate – either way, we can talk it through on a discovery call.
